MacPherson's
New Monolith Version 2 Loudspeakers Make Great Sound at BPOE National
Convention
SKOKIE,
IL, August 20, 2001 --- MacPherson, Inc.'s new Monolith Version 2 loudspeakers provided sound reinforcement
last month at The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 137th National Convention. Held in Philadelphia, July 8 - 12th, at the Philadelphia Convention Center, the event drew over 8,500 people.
Fourteen Monoliths were configured into three vertical line arrays. According to Ron Wirth, show systems specialist for T.C. Furlong, Inc., whose company supplied and integrated the
FOH audio equipment, "The Monoliths were a great choice in a challenging venue.
They were able to overcome less than ideal acoustics and obstacles such as five 16'
x 12' delay screens, in a huge room."
