MacPherson, Inc. designs and manufactures high-performance loudspeaker
systems. We've been doing this since 1987. It's all we do, and we're
committed to doing it very well.
All MacPherson loudspeakers are designed to meet three main product
goals: excellent sonic performance, superior application suitability,
and long-term reliability. While each MacPherson loudspeaker has a
unique set of characteristics, every model provides sonically pleasing
reinforcement of live and playback audio sources. No design is complete
until the overriding requirement of simply sounding good has been
reached. Although advanced technology is used in the creation process,
it's not the basis for bringing a MacPherson loudspeaker to life.
Professionals with the theoretical knowledge, field experience, and
"ears" guide each design from conception to completion.
Meeting the needs of field applications does not come as an
afterthought. For example, loudspeakers for "on-the-road" use must
set up, tear down, and transport in a fast and efficient manner.
Permanent installations need flexibility in mounting and connection
methods. MacPherson utilizes a collaborative design process to identify
and incorporate the real-world needs into every product.
While no loudspeaker is indestructible, careful selection of components
and materials, combined with an overall conservative design approach,
ensures maximum reliability. While this philosophy might seem to be a
bit of a return to the past, it's appropriate for products that must
function year after year in demanding applications. From tough finishes
and extra-heavy-duty hardware to multilayer birch plywood and oversized
drivers, every MacPherson loudspeaker is "pro" to its core. |
